Curtis Wayne MacKay

It is with great sadness that the family of Curtis Wayne MacKay Sr. passed away suddenly at his home on the 14th of June 2016 at the age of 67. Prior to retirement, Curtis worked various jobs including captaining the ferries to Deer Island. He had a love of nature and enjoyed fishing, hunting and photography. He found great pride and enjoyment in all the precious moments spend with family and friends.

Curtis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Gail and his children, Curtis Jr., and Serena (Derek). Curtis will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Isaac), Emma, Jake, and Ben, by his brothers, Rodney (Ruth), Arthur (Marg), and Richard (Pat). Curtis was predeceased by his father Wesley Stewart McKay and mother Lois Muriel McKay-Dakin, twin brothers, Ronald and Donald McKay.

Arrangements are in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. A Funeral Service in memory of Curtis will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Leonardville Church of Christ.In Curtis’ memory, donations to Stan Cassidy Foundation (800 Priestman Street, Fredericton, NB E3B 0C7) or to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
