Hazen "Bud" William Mitchell
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital on May 28, 2016, Hazen "Bud" William Mitchell, husband of Marjorie L. (Pendleton) Mitchell of Lord's Cove NB. Born in Lambert's Cove NB on October 22, 1927, he was a son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Stuart) Mitchell. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, in addition to his loving wife Marjorie, he is survived by two sons: Brian (Jackie) Mitchell of Fairhaven NB and Danny (Debbie) Mitchell of Saint John NB; grandchildren: Brandon (Cari), Shannon (Terry), Justin, Joey (Mandy), Jill (Norman), Trent and Shayla; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Charlotte Richardson of Lambert's Cove NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Bud was predeceased by one son: Michael; one brother: James Mitchell; one sister: Thelma Lambert

Prior to retirement Bud spent his days on the water as a fisherman. He loved to be tending weir and was the past President of the Fundy Weir Fishermen's Association. He was a long time member and Deacon of the Lambert's Cove Baptist Church and at one time taught Sunday School. Bud will be sadly missed by his family but they will always remember him for his warm heart and friendly smile.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visitation will be held at the Lambert's Cove Baptist Church, Lambert's Cove NB on Monday from 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating followed by the interment in the Fairhaven Community Cemetery, Calder's Head NB. In Bud's memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
