Sherman Preston Cooke

Peacefully at his residence on May 9, 2016, Sherman Cooke of Back Bay NB. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on December 4, 1963, he was a son of the late Horace and Lois (Leslie) Cooke. A loving brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend, Sherman is survived by his siblings: Bonnie (Larry) Parks of St. George, Dianne Lambert of Back Bay, Jackie (Dorothy) Cooke of Back Bay, Nila (Merlin) Craig of Bonny River, Gregory (Tammy) Cooke of Tower Hill, Raye (Alberta) Cooke of St. George, Barry Cooke (Tammy Leavitt) of St. Stephen and Trudy Cooke of Back Bay; sister in law: Susan Cooke of St. Stephen; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Sherman was predeceased by one brother: Wade Cooke; nieces: Heather Cooke and Shawna (Parks) Coulton; and brother in law: Chester Lambert.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visitation will be held at the Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held from the church on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating followed by the interment at St. George Rural Cemetery. In Sherman's memory donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
