Jennie Jerusha  D'Entremont
At the Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen NB on September 22, 2015, Mrs. Jennie Jerusha (Richardson) D'Entremont, of St. Stephen NB, wife of the late Harold D'Entremont formerly of West Pubnico NS. Born at Deer Island NB on September 24, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Jennie (Small) Richardson. A loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, Jennie is survived by her daughter-in-law: Doris Parks of St. Stephen NB; step-daughters: Shirley, Rhoda and Virginia; step-son: Carl; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband Harold, Jennie was predeceased by her first husband: Raymond Parks Sr.; her son: Raymond Parks Jr.; daughter: Marina Dobyansky; brothers: Herbert, Lyle, Harry, Russell and Kenneth; and by sisters: Hilda, Nellie, Tessie, Freda and Emily. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

When able, Jennie enjoyed knitting and sewing as well as listening to music and she loved to dance. She was a homemaker and housekeeper by trade having worked hard to raise her family. In her earlier years, both she and her first husband Raymond worked in various cooking camps throughout the area for Stanley Spinneys logging operations.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. A memorial service will be held at the St. George Baptist Church, St. George NB on Thursday at 2:30 pm with Rev. Daniel Jamer and Rev. William Parks officiating, followed by the interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm. In Jennie's memory, donations to the Union Street Atlantic Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
